Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center is northern Colorado's newest medical center providing 24-hour, comprehensive medical services in a caring environment. Part of the Exempla Healthcare system, this community Hospital provides outstanding patient care, including private rooms with fantastic views of the Flat Irons of Colorado.

Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center's Services and Expertise

• Cardiac and Vascular Services: Cardiac and vascular services offered by Exempla Good Samaritan include a range of non-invasive procedures; diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary intervention and pacemaker insertion; Cardiac Rehabilitation; and interventional radiology (diagnostic vascular angiogram, thrombolytic therapy and more).
• Emergency and Trauma Services: The Emergency Department offers a state-of-the-art Level III Trauma Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center. Behavioral Health members are on-site for psychiatric evaluations.
• Bone & Joint Institute: Exempla Good Samaritan physicians and professional staff provide the highest quality orthopedic care in surroundings that are comfortable, convenient and utilize state-of-the-art technology.
• ENT (Otolaryngology): Exempla Good Samaritan is currently the exclusive site on the Front Range for the Balloon Sinuplasty^TM system that gives patients relief with less pain and faster healing than traditional sinus surgery.
• Neurosurgical Services: The Hospital has recently introduced a new spine treatment program that employs minimally invasive fusion, uses an O-arm and dramatically increases the ability of the surgeon to visualize the bone of the spine during surgery. In 2009, Good Samaritan Medical Center added two breakthrough neuroscience technologies-the INFRARED 800^TM and the OPMI Pentero®-for treatment of strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors and other conditions.
• Women's and Family Services: Exempla Good Samaritan is the first hospital in Colorado and the 55th in the nation to become a "baby friendly" hospital. The Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative is an international program of the World Health Organization and UNICEF that supports breastfeeding for all babies.
• Integrative Care: On an inpatient and outpatient basis, Exempla Good Samaritan offers acupuncture, massage, healing touch and other integrative health services in its Health and Healing Center.

Exempla Good Samaritan opened its doors on Dec. 1, 2004 to serve the growing northwest metropolitan area of Denver. In 2006 and again in 2008, the Hospital added beds to accommodate growth.
